A flight to the natural wonder of Iguazu Falls will give you a visit to the jungle and hundreds of waterfalls, with indigenous cultures in the area.
Days 1-4
Arrive in Buenos Aires. We will explore the rich culture of the city which reflects its European influences.
Buenos Aires is home to more than 380 bookstores, 287 theaters, 160 museums. Its architecture blends neoclassical, art nouveau, and art deco styles, you’ll be snapping pictures on every block.
The food scene is unbelievable. Local chefs blend Argentinian produce with culinary influences from around the world. Are you ready for fresh Italian-style pasta? Steak, empanadas, and of course, local Malbec?
The famous dance of the region is Tango, we’ll not only take a lesson, but we’ll get out at night to a local dancehall to see Argentinians show their moves. Maybe you’ll join in?
Days 5-9
After our days in the city, we’ll take the two hour flight to Puerto Iguazú.
This is one of the most awe-inspiring wonders of nature. The Iguazú Falls consist of a chain of over 200 waterfalls, which lie on the Argentinian and Brazilian borders. The sound of the pounding falls will surprise you, and bring a rain poncho because of all the mist! This is a national park, consisting of a rainforest filled with unique flora and fauna. At sunset, look for toucans flying overhead and other tropical birds of the area.
We’ll also take time to learn about the indigenous Guaraní culture that has enjoyed these lands for centuries. Ancestral traditions and artisan work will help you connect to this region in a deeper way.
The breataking beauty of this area will be hard to say goodbye to. On Day 8, we’ll take an afternoon flight to Buenos Aires, where we’ll have our farewell dinner and some rest before our early morning flight on Day 9 to the U.S.
¡Ciao for now, we hope you return soon!
