Your ultimate cultural experience in Argentina awaits! Experience charming Argentina both in the stunning city of Buenos Aires with its European-inspired food and architecture, and tango dancing. A flight to the natural wonder of Iguazu Falls will give you a visit to the jungle and hundreds of waterfalls, while learning from a centuries-old indigenous community in the area.

Day 1: Welcome to Argentina!

We’ll help you choose flights that arrive with the group at Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires.

Joy, our Argentinian guide, will greet us at the airport. We’ll got to our hotel, get settled, and take a walking tour of the area to get oriented. Not to worry, based on the arrival times we will eat lunch and/or dinner together.

Day 2: El

Tigre Delta

We will start our morning with breakfast to prepare for our trip to Puerto Madero, an exclusive waterfront neighborhood and former port area in Buenos Aires.

Sit back and relax while we take a catamaran to the Tigre Delta. We will explore the Museo de Arte Tigre, eat lunch, and shop with locals in Puerto de Frutos.

We will drive back to Buenos Aires and have some free time before we get ready for our traditional Asado Dinner experience.

Day 3: South Buenos Aires

After breakfast, we will visit the iconic places in the south end of the city.

We’ll visit the oldest and most historic square in the city, the Plaza de Mayo. This is surrounded by landmarks like the Casa Rosada (presidential palace) and the Metropolitan Cathedral. You’ll see Eva Perón’s iconic balcony where she delivered her most emotional addresses to the working class in the 1950’s.

Next we’ll go to the vibrantly painted La Boca neighborhood, a global hub for street art and football (soccer) culture. We will enlighten our taste, smell, and touch senses with coffee and a lesson with the local artist, participating in a fileatado porteño painting activity.

Next we’ll go to the San Telmo neighborhood for lunch and wine tasting. In the late afternoon return to our hotel neighborhood for free time before a night of food, history, and dancing.

You cannot visit Buenos Aires without experiencing tango. After enjoying some famous empanadas, we will join a tango class where we will learn the history of tango and enjoy a lesson before setting out to for a fun night with locals at a tango hub.

Day 4: North Buenos Aires

We will take this day to explore the Recoleta Cemetery - where former Argentine presidents Sarmiento and Raúl Alfonsín were buried. We will explore the Recoleta neighborhood, slowly driving through the mansion zone and taking in the beautiful architecture.

Lunch will be followed by a walking tour of Palermo SoHo, a colorful neighborhood known for it’s incredible street art, quaint coffee shops, and so much more!

Enjoy some free time in the afternoon before we gather for an lively, tasty cooking class, which will also be our dinner tonight.

Day 5: Costanera Sur & flight to Iguazu Falls

At sunrise, we’ll check out of our hotel and enjoy a morning walk through the expansive Costanera Sur park on the water’s edge of the city. This is a well-known birding spot that is home to the Southern Screamer, Black-necked Swan, and Monk Parakeets. You’ll even see the national bird, Rufous Hornero, with its nest that looks like a brick oven.

Next, our van will be waiting with our luggage to head to the airport for our two hour flight to Iguazu Falls.

Lilian, our Iguazu guide, will pick us up at the airport and take us to our hotel to get settled. We’ll head out to a nearby Guarani Indigenous village to learn about the centuries’ old traditions of the locals.

At sunset, we’ll go to a local restaurant for dinner.

Day 6: The Great Panoramas of Foz do Iguaçu

We’ll start our morning with an early breakfast to avoid the crowds at the border crossing into Brazil. Today is all about the grand scale of the falls, and be sure to pack your rain poncho!

Around 10:00 am, we’ll arrive at the Iguazu National Park on the Brazilian side for a leisurely two-hour walk along the concrete panoramic path. For the ultimate thrill, we’ll board a Zodiac boat to navigate the river and feel the power of the falls from below. Afterward, a convenient lift will take us back up the hill, saving our energy for the afternoon.

After our boat ride, we’ll refuel with lunch before heading back across the border to our hotel for some free time before dinner.

Day 7: Iguazú Falls

We’ll start our morning with breakfast before departing for the Iguazú National Park.
Bring your rain pancho again, but also be ready for exotic wildlife; butterflies, large Toco Toucans, and Amazon Kingfishers.


We’ll start our adventure with a scenic train ride through the rainforest to the legendary Devil’s Throat (Garganta del Diablo), where you’ll stand on a balcony directly over the most powerful section of the falls to witness the thundering curtain of water.

Afterwards, we will explore the Upper Circuit, a mile-long flat trail that offers incredible bird’s-eye views from the very edge of various falls. We’ll wrap up our exploration with a relaxing lunch in the national park before returning to the hotel to unwind and enjoy the evening.

Day 8: Buenos Aires

Our last full day will start with a late morning flight back to Buenos Aires. After lunch and getting into our hotel, we’ll explore areas of the city we missed before.
We’ll visit the iconic El Ateno Grand Splendid, a bookstore in a converted 1919 theater that beautifully preserves its original architecture, including a frescoed dome. The old theater boxes have been converted into small, private reading nooks where you can sit and browse. The original stage, complete with crimson velvet curtains, now serves as a café and bar where you can enjoy coffee while listening to a live pianist.

We’ll visit other city treasures, have an early farewell dinner, then it’s off to bed before the 1:45 am departure to the airport for our flight home.
