Unique Cultural Tours
Q: Can I meet the group in the final city destination?
A: Yes! Air travel to Cuba and Colombia changes often. We will provide recommended flights from your home city 8-12 weeks before the tour, but you can pick the ones that fit best for you. That allows you to spend a few extra days in Miami or another departure city on your way to/from your tour.
Q: What are the typical demographics of your tour groups?
A: Most of our travelers are over 55 years old, a mix of men and women, some singles, and some couples. Many are from Colorado, are highly educated, and have traveled internationally before. Our tours are not designed for teens or children; we recommend that you book a private tour with us so they can have a tour that is more engaging for young people.
Q: Can you give me references? I’d like to talk to others who have been on your trips.
Absolutely. Contact us for referrals at Info@vivemastours.com
Q: I have more questions. How can I reach you?
Feel free to email your questions to Info@Vivemastours.com or call our main number, 720-778-0089. We look forward to talking with you!
Q: There are 12 OFAC Guidelines for legal travel to Cuba. Which one applies to Vive Mas Tours travelers?
A: We provide you with your visa to Cuba! Our tours are in compliance with Support for the Cuban People licenses. If you are not traveling with Vive Mas Tours, you can find more information here: § 515.560 Travel-related transactions to, from, and within Cuba by persons subject to U.S. jurisdiction.
Q: In Cuba, we stay at Bed and Breakfasts. What are they like and will the whole group be housed together?
A: Cuban Bed & Breakfasts, or casa particulares, are not like a homestay. You get the privacy and comfort of a hotel room with your own bathroom, yet welcoming hospitality that surpasses Cuban-run hotels. We are often divided into smaller lodgings, most with 2+ guest rooms. They are located near each other, so it’s easy to walk from one to another. If you are a single traveler, we will be sure you are not the only guest staying at a B&B.
Q: Can I participate in a Curious About Cuba class if I cannot attend one in-person?
A: Yes! The classes are designed to help you understand Cuba better while you are there. We will send you the outline and lots of links, including a book list. The classes can also be found on our YouTube Channel. We also love the movie, “The Lost City” with Andy Garcia!
THE INSIDE SCOOP! Over the years we have learned to pack just enough clothes so that we wear everything twice. We roll our clothes and use packing cubes.
A carry-on suitcase, small daypack, and a luggage lock make our trip easy when we are on the go! See our favorite products here.
